HeadStart provides candidate preparation and introduction services for junior construction, civil infrastructure and built-environment talent. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website, forms, email correspondence and any tools we use to deliver our services. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

From students and candidates: name, contact details, study and graduation details, target roles, resume content, availability, career preferences and anything you choose to share through forms or calls.

From employers: contact name, business name, role brief details, hiring needs and correspondence relating to introductions.

We also collect basic website analytics (device, browser, pages visited) to operate and improve the site.

3. How we use information

To contact you, deliver the services you have purchased or requested, prepare candidates, review employer enquiries, coordinate introductions where you have consented, manage payments and improve our service.

4. Sharing candidate information

A candidate's information is only shared with an employer where the candidate has consented to be considered for that specific opportunity. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Third-party tools

HeadStart may use Tally, Stripe, Airtable or another CRM, Make or another automation tool, email providers, analytics tools and cloud storage tools to operate the service. These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy arrangements. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information may be stored on cloud platforms operated within Australia or overseas by reputable providers.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@joinheadstart.com.au.

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
